About this policy

This policy explains how Brunswick Locksmith Service (“we”, “us”) handles personal information. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where they apply to us.

What we collect

When you call, email or use our quote form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb and property type where work is needed, a description of the issue, your preferred contact method and anything else you choose to tell us.

When we carry out work that involves opening or changing locks, we may ask to see identification or documents showing you are entitled to access the property. We view these to confirm entitlement and do not keep copies unless you agree or we are required to.

How the quote form works

Our quote form does not store your details on this website. When you submit it, your own email app opens with a message addressed to info@brunswicklocksmithserivce.com. The information is only sent to us if you choose to send that email.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes and pricing information, arrange and carry out work, issue invoices and keep basic job records. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Third-party services

If you choose to load the map on our website, Google may collect information according to its own privacy policy. The map does not load until you select it. Your email provider handles emails you send to us.

Storage, access and correction

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and to keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
